p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · SOLVED - Canon GP-E2 GPS in LOG mode - how to connect to computer

The Canon GP-E2 GPS can be used as a LOG tracker. The device comes with a cable that has a proprietary GPS connector on one end and a mini-USB connector on the other end that can plug into a camera.

To use it as a logger for a camera other than a 5DIII, 1DX or 7D the instructions say to pluig into a computer and use the Map Utility.

Problem is my computers don't have mini-USB connectors.

Has anyone that is using the GP-E@ found the appropriate connector for computer connection?

Thank you. (I have emailed Canon but no response yet.)

Canon replied that the connection on the GP-E2 is dual purpose. Standard camera to computer cable will work.
