Looking the HDR over. To make sure I have it strait. When it states that it will automatically take the number of pictures needed to cover the whole range needed; that doesn't mean it will automatically auto arrange and produce the final picture on the camera right? We still need to post process the pictures with software such as Photomatix Pro right?

Thanks for the reply. I tinkered with the T4i and the 5DIII has it also, I thought the ones they produced turned out nice for on the fly. I'm absolutely sure that post processing would turn out better in the end though.

I used it on my old 5D II and liked it. Some oddball quirks as you would expect from non commercial software but easy enough to install and remove. Didn't use much other than playing with it. Some cool features like intervolmeter, the ability to force a shot based on a loud noise like a clap or action in front of the lens.
I just installed in on one CF card then I could remove and replace it with a non ML card to go back to basic Canon firmware. You can also start the camera with it disabled by holding down the set button when turning the camera power on.

Installed it without any issues, first impressions are good. I tried out the auto-bracketing for HDR which works very nicely indeed. I will fool around a little more before giving my full review.

Loaded it and have not had any hang ups or issues. Just learning the features that it has and some are actually pretty nice, others I will probably never use. It is easy to remove or turn off. I myself like the focus features used when in video mode like magic zoom and focus peak. Focus peak is very accurate! Otherwise it will take some getting used to a normal set up using it. I did find the historgram easier to see/read that comes with the canon software in livemode, more so than the ML. Probably because it's larger and easier to see. I'm getting older and that close up stuff is a tad blurry.
