We are just about to buy a WT-4 transmitter to work with the D700 & D800. Wow those suckers are pricey!
It looks like they use the same battery as the D700, which I thought was being made obsolete by new Japanese battery regulations. Any rumours of an update that uses different batteries ?
What is your personal experience of using the WT-4 - or perhaps alternatives? This will be used mainly at events where we need the shot over to the computer ASAP without having to be tethered.
