I have been going through the manual and trying to configure the 1DX for my shooting style. Unfortunately I have set a registered AF point which I am now unable to cancel. Page 338 of the manual indicates that pressing the exposure compensation button while holding the point selection button will cancel it but I cannot get this to work. Can someone help me cancel the registered selection point

I tried that and the new one is created. Never mind I found the answer, I was pressing the FEC button instead of the EC, all ok now. Thanks for your help
