This is my fist photo submission for C&C. Please help me improve my limited skills.
Camera was a Nikon D60 and the lens was a Nikon 70-300 VR. SB-600 for fill.
Any tips or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what I did correctly (if anything) and incorrectly (needing improvement).
Issues I have identified already are the hot spot on her shoulder, the bit of her left forearm in the bottom right corner, and the hot spots in her hair.

As regards the African American shot, unless you’re trying to establish a location she was shot in, the upper part of the tower is a distraction, even though its blurred out. IMHO. Next time, might have an assistant hold a black scrim off camera to tame the sun off the left shoulder.
