Could someone explain to me how to do this. I just purchased a D800 and need the update. Thanks in advance.

Cs5 will not be updated for Camera Raw to support the D800. It's what Adobe always does to make you upgrade your software when you upgrade your camera.
Adobe Camera Raw for CS5, ACR version 6.7.0.339 (or there may be a more recent version) is downloadable and compatible with the newest Nikon cameras including the D800 and D800e models.
I have it installed with my version of CS5 (although I use CS6).
I stand corrected, I just checked my CS5 and it does have 6.7 in it. A friend of mine told me when he bought his D800E that he had to upgrade because Adobe told him CS5 camera raw updates were done.
Camera Raw 7.1 is not backward compatible with CS5 or earlier. Your D800 is OK, but future Nikon camera releases will not be up dated in CS5. Using Lightroom 4.1 is a workaround, in that it uses the most recent version of Camera Raw. You can go from LR to CS5 and make your tweaks. Tim Gray has discussed this issue.
