Hi simple question will the Contax Carl Zeiss Lenses fit the Canon 5D mk3 as i have a friend who wants to know but does not have internet access at the moment so i said i will post the question for him.
If you mean C/Y lens, yes.. with adapter. Not sure if some wont block mirror, they might or might not.. depends how much is mirror assembly of 5DMK3 different from 5Dc and 5DMK2.
Get a list of the lenses intended to be used - not all will work - some may need modification. The earlier version "AE" will have all white numbers on the aperture scale - the "MM" later versions will have the highest aperture number (f16, f22) marked in green.
