I read "smallest" in the title and immediately thought of GoPro. Thinnest is probably the iPhone

There are about 25 other smart phones that are thinner than the iPhone

Just about all of the major manufacturers have made or do make a 0.7� thick compact camera and some have made a few 0.6� thick models at one point in time. I believe the only one currently making a 0.6� model is Sony with the TX200V and TX300V. I could be more exacting if necessary.

Oops! The Sony TX55 is 0.5� thick. I believe that is a benchmark!

Ya, I was just going with the generic smartphone answer. But seems the Sony TX55 might have them all beat

I've read from http://www.squidoo.com/sony-tx200v that tx200v is one of the smallest by sony, but I think the Sony tx66 is smaller.
