So, everything is perfect on my unit, until... when the light was dimmer i found light bleed in the left, right and bottom of the viewfinder, when the focus point lights up.
At iso 6400 1/100 its like disco club, makes the impression its a 100$ camera.
I have a d700 and a d90 and i know about that red light that fills the viewfinder when the focus points lights up, that never bothered me, here the edges lights are very powerfull lite , i never seen something like this on a dslr.
In good light there is no issue.
I will send it back, if its something normal i will probabily buy another d700
I returned the camera to the dealer, and the other d800 that was only for display pourpose had the same issue.
The staff from the store said that they never seen something like this on a dslr.
There in a square in front of the digits that displays the info in the viewfinder that is bigger, and the red light is projected on it.
