I sold my 24mm 1.4G (my fave ever wide angle) and today my new toy arrived.
Nikon 28mm 1.8G. Just done a couple of test shots at my desk at work and boy is this thing sharp and the OOF areas are rendered superbly. Plus the minimum focus distance on this thing is very impressive
yes I loose 4mm on the wide end but hey for landscapes i'll just pull bak with my feet, so am I happy with the switch. Well its early days and I need to give it a thorough testing but early impressions are very positive.
oh and the extra £700 floating in my bank account gives me a very warm feeling inside haha.
I used the 24/2.8 for years as a PJ...but it didn't perform well on a Canon dSLR....but the Olympus 24/2.8 seems MUCH better...and I found this and you may find it useful.. http://leitax.com/OlympusOM-lens-for-Nikon-cameras.html
