Just stumbled on this link that shows a gigapan image of the olympics.

It is incredible that you can zoom all the way in and see incredible details.

What I also found interesting is checking out the photogs and their camera gear.
Looks like it's just about 50/50 Canon and Nikon!

They're all using live view manual focus because no AF system is good enough.

its hard to say which system is used more, but looks like the Nikon guys have more bodies and lenses with them so you could say nikon win this
