I am looking for some books / guides on studio product photography. It would be nice if there is an emphasize on photographing (large) shiny objects. Any ideas? Books in the English language are OK.
Check out don Giannetti. He recently did workshop on product photography on creative live and I believe he has books on that too. I purchased the lighting workshop and love his teaching methods.
I don't have an answer, but it ties into a what I think is a missing category, still life/product photography. There's not much of a showcase for that. I might add or expand that to include food photography and perhaps any other class (scientific, documentary) of photo that's not covered by people-places-animals-plants-bugs..
