p.1 #1 · Inexpensive Charger for Canon BP-511 in Calgary?
I recently acquired a Canon 30D as part of a package of used gear. The camera was basically a throw-in, but it's in surprisingly nice shape, the only problem being it didn't come with a battery charger and the one battery with it is dead. I'd like to get the battery charged up to see if the camera works or not, but I don't want to pay the ridiculous prices the local stores want for the Canon chargers.
Does anyone know of a store in the Calgary area that carries decent third-party charges for reasonable prices? Or better yet, does anyone have an old charger for the BP-511 they no longer need?

BP511 batteries & the chargers were (and still are) widely available at many department stores and malls locally where I live.... I can only imagine it's the same in Canada. Seven generations of xxD cameras used the BP511 and clone copies are available everywhere down here (along with the chargers). Try that first I'd suggest.

I found a used Canon battery and charger at The Camera Store for less than local retailers charge for the third-party knockoffs (thanks to a fellow FM member!).
