I don't know if a duck face is acting older by any means... But anyway... I'd have to agree on both points, nice lighting, but the crop is definitely off.
Not too bad. She will have a lot of potential in future years.

A medium head and shoulders shot, I reckon that would be a special shot.
To me, the open palm probably because of the skintone there, looks out of scale. Good looking young lady, but I think you should have dialated her pupils prior to shooting to help accentuate her eyes.

I agree about the pupils .I just learned how that is accomplished the other day by reading a thread here. Dial up the modeling light to make the pupils smaller so more of the Iris shows.
I see what you mean about the palm now that I look at it.
