The view is "down" the fjord, toward the sea.

That's amazing, Charlie! I love how the clouds appear to have pulled back, revealing the water... just so you could get the shot!

Yes, it was a wonderful plane ride- my first over an ice field (Juneau Icefield) AND my first over a fjord and glaciers. It's the most concentrated sightseeing imaginable!
