The cloning work on the left side of hair is pretty noticeable....I will say no more as I do not want Chris Hansen and Dateline knocking on my front door

That made me laugh.
Mom pulled out all the stops to help celebrate her daughters 13th birthday, and first day as a teen. Manicure, Pedicure, Photo Shoot, Dinner Party, etc...
Busted - but hey, I'm a dad of a lovely young woman myself who is now 22, and it all comes with due time...
Looks like you are using a dish (or unmodified flash/bare bulb) on the all white shot for your key. I don't think I've noticed that in your similar studio shots before. I like that look!
Yeah, I took the diffuser off my Octo for this. I shoot that way when I'm in Chicago shooting catalog work and like the results. I like the harder shadows at times.
The kid loved the attention, and that's what it was all about anyway. Something for her to enjoy and remember. We have another mini-session to do go-go ga-ga looks with her next week.
Looks like she had a blast! She also seems to be a good sport, as is her mom. Lovely, flattering lighting. Your hot white work is some of the cleanest I've seen recently.
I have one of those 14 year old granddaughters that thinks she knows and should look like a 25 year woman,,
I take photos for here but refuse to shoot anything making her look like she is in her twenties,, she can do that with her iphone easily enough for all her FB pages,,
