p.1 #1 · Zeiss Aperture Ring Slightly Loose

Hey guys I just purchased a Zeiss 100... The issue is that the Aperature ring seems a bit loose and does not completely lock at smallest aperture. It does click, but it's not a hard click, it's a soft click.

Am I being paranoid, or should I bring the lens back to B&H?

Mine doesn't "click" when moved to f22,but the button pops out and you can't move the ring. How does that compare to yours?

Yes, it does cause the most frustrating (although sometimes amusing) mistakes...

My Zeiss 100 MP clicks on each f/stop and locks on f22. No aperture ring should turn freely without clicking at each stop.

That sounds wrong. Mine locks at f/22. The zeiss detents for apertures have a fairly snappy feel to them, and nothing feels loose about it.
