Love the presentation and the first is the most beautiful portrait I have seen in a while.

Sometimes I do ask them to male a pose for the picture, but most of the time I just take candids.
It is a social events, with lots of photographers around, and since it is open to the public you do not need permission from the people who are being photographed.

It is a variety, cross country, jumping, etc, but mainly a social event
