Well the number "2" at the end of the model number indicates their latest updated range and as far as I know none of their new tripods are in stores yet.

Most of the latest "2" versions have been in stock and sold for a rather long time now.

Well the "2" version systematics have only been in stock for about three months or so here but I haven't seen any others. OTOH I haven't looked very hard... This is the only one I found with the same number but it's not the same tripod.

The OP should ask Gitzo's distributor in Finland.
