I read that Sanyo's eneloop factory was sold to Panasonic, yet Sanyo just came out with its new 2500 mAH Ni MH battery??
About a year ago I bought some Sony batteries that were allegedly made by Sanyo, were actually eneloops with a different skin and label. Will Panasonic market eneloops with the Panasonic label now?
MY ISSUE:
I currently use the older 2000 mAH eneloops with an Eneloop charger
I have 4 Canon flashes and need at least 16 more Ni MH batteries.
1 - can I use this 2000 mAH Sanyo charger for other capacities, e.g. 2500 mAH?
2 - if I buy a 2500 mAH kit (charger & batteries - of any brand) can I charge my old 2000 mAH eneloops with it?
My suggestion. Try not use a rapid charger for Eneloop. Unfortunately, those kits usually come with rapid charger. The internal heat caused by rapid charging will shorten the life of a battery. Slow charger with 200ma/h is preferred for most Ni-Mh batteries.
