Hi Guys,

I am new to photography but i bought Canon 5d mark II and 50mm 1.2f.

I have some coupons from Dell which is worth of $1000 and i need to utilize these coupons ASAP.

Please advise what kind of lens i need to buy.

I am interest in portrait and landscape photography mainly.

Please advise with in the budget what lens i can buy. Sorry if this is a very basic question to you or if this is not the right place to post this question.

From the Dell.com offerings buy the:

Canon EF 85 mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens $389.00 for portraits
and the
Canon EF 17-40 mm f/4L USM Ultra-Wide Zoom Lens $779.99 for landscapes

or the
Canon EF 24-105 mm f/4L IS USM Standard Zoom Lens 1149.00.

You might want to post this question on the Canon forum. Not that you've been give bad advice here, but since that is the system you're using, you might want to ask the folks committed to Canon. Good luck.
