I spoke to the folks at Kirk today, and have good news. The L Plate for the 5D Mk III w/ Canon 5G-11E Grip will start shipping in the next ten days.

They have about 80 folks on backorder, and I guess I might be number ten. I might have it next week.

I am about to become whole on my MK III system.
