I'm currently playing with a composer pro 35 and let me tell you, this thing is hard to shoot with!
It is definitely going to take some getting used to but dang I've never had such a hard time with a new piece of equipment!
Any Lensbaby pros out there with some tips for better results?
I use my Lensbaby rather unconventionally, stopped down to f22. I like the effect though. If you have live view then focusing and adjusting the looks is hugely easier than through the viewfinder where is is indeed difficult.
It's just so hard to get good focus for me. If you shoot open then the DOF is very very shallow and if you stop it down it's hard to see because the viewfinder get's so dim. I've keep shooting with it but still don't feel at one with it yet. My keeper percentage is extremely low.
