Excellent shots, this new 28G is my first 28 so overall I'm just excited by the new-to-me focal length.
My favorite of your three is 'Under the Tracks', if you aren't familiar with it already you should check out the Manual Focus Nikon Glass Thread looking at your lens bag!
That's a shameless plug Tony... but we'll take it.
I've long found the 28mm focal length appealing, going back to my days with Canon shooting with the 28-70 f/2.8L. My first Nikon lens was the Beast at 28-70 f/2.8 AF-s. Were I shooting AF I'd definitely pick up this lens and imagine it would spend a great deal of time on my camera. So have fun everyone. I'll look forward to seeing images...

This is a bit of a cheat but it's a 2 shot (stacked) pano using the new 28/1.8G from this morning: Boilermaker Shop Pano by Tony DeFilippo, on Flickr
I'm immediately very happy with the infinity sharpness of this lens... just based on casual shooting and observation thus far but if it's sharp when I'm not having to pay close attention to it I view it as a good thing. I'm also happy about that sunstar I got, FYI the lens was set at f/11.
The two raw files were brought in through LR4, exported to PSE10 as TIFFs, merged then imported back into LR4 and exported as jpg with the default sharpening.
This is an CSX ethanol train heading east toward Cumberland Md just after sundown, a little light left in the sky.
The CSX summit of the Alleghenies, a hard climb!
