I am new to macro photography and since I had an old Minolta SRT202 film camera, I thought I would see if there was an adapter to be able to use my antique lenses.
Fotodiox had one for $40 that fits!!! I now have 2 lenses with an MC mount to use on my EOS cameras. One is a 50mm 1.4 and the other is an 80-200mm 1:4 to 1:10 Macro. Admitedly the macro lens is a POS by today's standards and does not do 1:1, but it was like found $$$. Yes, both must be manually focused, but the in-camera light meter reads dead on for exposure.
Now I have the wants for a current macro lens, probably the Canon 100L 2.8 IS Macro that can double as a portrait lens (until i can afford the 85L) or the MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x.
