Anyone know where I can get a hood for a Zeiss 21 Distagon, Contax lens converted, not a ZE or ZF?
Can be oem, or third party, and too big even if it doesn't encroach on image...just want a hood that works although I've never run into a scenario where my lack of a hood has been a problem. I just block the sun with my hand...but...now that I'll be a Nikon D800 shooter, every shutter speed advantage is helpful, so I don't want to be holding the camera with one hand while blocking sun with the other, leaving the camera to wobble even minutely.

I don't know the filter size on the 21, but I recently tried something similar with a Contax N 24-85, using a generic 82mm wide angle (flower petal) available from Adorama. Unfortunately, the depth of the thread area on the hood vignetted the corners pretty badly. I solved by buying the proper Contax Zeiss hood as a used part from B&H.
By "converted" do you mean you have done the Leitax F mount to the lens?
