p.1 #1 · s100 Codec for Win 7 (or Win anything)

Is there an S100 codec available for windows 7. I just got an s100 and keep getting a pop-up telling me to load a codec. When I go to the link and download the codec, it does nothing - in fact the s100 isn't listed on the codec specs. Can someone give me a link to the correct codec?

I think if you install iTunes, it comes with the codec. Apple uses the same thing, I think.

Disregard all of the advice above. They are confusing your question with audio codecs.

I don't believe either Canon or Microsoft offers support for the S100 in their Windows 7 codec packs--camera support tends to be limited to DSLR models.

However, you might try these:

Thanks. I believe that you are correct about the support for s100 codec under win 7. G11, G12, s90 s95 yes but not the s100. It is pretty sad that the s100 has been out for 8 or 9 months and they haven't produced a codec . . .
