I have been working on my feeders in the backyard. These two days, I have noticed a pair of Cardinals hanging around near the feeders, constantly calling in the morning and evening. After some observation, I discovered that they were trying to get this juvenile to learn how to fly. This youngster was jumping in the bushes near my setup in the backyard. With the parents constantly coming to feed at the feeders, this youngster finally followed and landed on one of the perches that I have setup for the song birds. Hid behind a blind, added filled flash.
