To all the PM Members, before becoming part of the PM team, I have always posted my work on sites like Naturescape and BPN. I have learned a lot with people's honest comments and critiques and often applied those when I am out in the field.
Don't be shy, say what you feel about the images that everyone posted on here. That is how we learn, that is how we improve, that is the purpose of the forum. Comments like "nice work" does not help improve my skills. I like the hear the reasons why you like/dislike a shot from the point of composition or technical aspect of an image.
Nice timing. If you have Lightroom, to get the bird to stand out from the background a little more, try reducing the blue luminescence slider a little. That's worked for me at times. But is very nice as is.--Eric.

Troy, I love the composition. Beautiful lines and the reflection anchors the image nicely.
On my monitor the Ibis looks 0.3 - 0.5 EV to bright.

Thank you Chris,
I applied white point to the brightest part of the bird's white feather at 237, I believe.
I am not sure if anyone else feel that it is too bright.
The bird is exposed perfectly but the BG light makes it look too bright. Unfortunately the BG is the problem with this shot. Saying that, you did well with the subject. Don

Thank you Don. Hopefully next time is the sunny bluish BG from the water.
