What a beautiful bird the Indigo is Socrate and you present this bird wonderfully here
Interesting to see the Finch in transition and it must be spectacular in full breeding plummage!
Tom
Thanks, Tom. I rarely get to see the Indigos very often and when I do is only for a brief period of time. They stayed around a couple of days.
Yep, the Gouldian Finch in full colors is spectacular!

These bring back memories and one of the reasons I stuck with this forum. I just love your small bird work Socrate. I looked at these and thought "Socrate's birds". Yup that says it all my friend.
Tim
Thanks , my friend I appreciate your kind words.

Killer shots!! How ever much I love raptors, owls, shorebirds etc., really good songbird shots are still my favorite. Really incredible Indigo shots, they're awesome!! The other shots are stunning as well but I'm not sure I've ever seen Indigo shots this good. Great work!
Thank you very much for the words, Ashley. I really appreciate them

Socrate- the Peanut Gallery likes these pictures and would be happy to have taken any small-bird images that are 1/10 as good as every-single-one-of-these.

Absolutely spectacular, Socrate! And you couldn't ask for better bgs. I really like the blue/green combinations and natural perches, so I'm going with #s 1 and 4 for my faves.
Best Wishes,
Steve
Thank you very much, Steve I the buntings will show up again soon
