Well I am just back from the Carribean. It was not a great photography cruise because the boat docked too late and left too early but the family was happy. [ Except I left my 5dii at home and went shopping in St Thomas for my first 2 shots below. $3350]

eyelaser: re intentionally left a camera home.... Yes - and there is nothing more frustrating than realizing that you have a great new body and you have brought your best crop lens (50 1.8, 100-400 and 17-55) kit on a cruise that does not lend itself to landscape or wildlife. anthony whitmo: It cost me more than that in a bracelet. My wife snookered me by letting me buy first and then buying some diamiand encrusted chain for here rist. So not the fool in the way you were anticipating but got snookered by the wife. The only saving was that I was prepared to pay the border tax on returning and the border guys were busy so they told me not to bother. So $3350 for a 5diii is pretty good. Thanks for your support. All of these are very nice Scott. What more could you ask for - great shots, family vacation, and a new body. If I bought a new body, my wife would probably say that she hoped it would keep me warm because that would be the only one I'd get close to for a while... ~ Ron
