Chris, as a guy who finally gave up on any serious efforts to photograph birds- especially in flight- I can appreciate the difficulties and efforts represented here.
You build to an excellent finale with this series- I really like the last two images. Bravo.

Interesting framing in this set, Chris. It takes a good eye to do it and a good grasp at of composition #3 is my favorite. Great job with the IF captures, as well.

Thank you Charlie. I like to shoot many things but birds might become my favorite subject.

Thank you Socrate. I do the cropping with fixed ratio in camera raw and try to train/trust my own eyes.
Although I have to admit that for #3 I used the crop tool in photoshop with the rules of thirds grid on.
