Opening shot is first out of the box with 5D3 taken of some flowers my wife had bought and I took after coming home from work and unboxing. And the next ones just a spring images.
Eric
Lovely tulips image, Eric.
And Bambi! Gimme a hug, you little spotted critter you.
Mom's flag is up. "Be alert kiddo (we need more lerts). If that guy shoots a Cannon () you need to learn the different kinds."
I Love the delightful, dramatic, dear deer shots.
Charlie
The first is very pretty and I’m wondering if you could have stopped down a touch more to have the full flower in focus. I love the soft light and background. The second is a beauty and my pick of the set.

Thanks Charlie...the fawns are really too cute and if given enough space mom doesn't get too upset...but I have had a few paw the ground which is a pretty good sign that she thinks I'm too close.

Eric, beautiful flower and sweet Bambi shots!
Congrats on you new camera.
Chris
Thanks Chris...it handles very differently from my 1D cameras....a bit of a learning curve with the controls in different locales.

Can't wait to see more bro
the fawn shot is a real beauty
Ant
Now now now Mr. Ant...you my friend make the 1D4 sing so sweetly that you don't need (ooh its that word again) a new body...I wanted a little bit more low light capability and am hoping this gives me a stop or two...if not I have a son that will be very happy

You're working your normal magic with the new camera Eric!....awesome set!!....
Thanks Jim...only the first is from the new guy...and it was a quick grab...the others were from my 1D4. I do think I will get to like the 5D3 but it is sooooo different.

Gorgeous set Eric! That second one is just super man!
Mike
Thanks Mike...I know they are rats with hooves but such nice looking rats and when they sit on my lawn and makes eyes at me like that...I just melt.

Morris
Thanks for the cc Morris...I am sure you are correct about the dof...I was shooting with the 24-105 and literally snapped 2 shots and didn't attempt to do anything special. I have to work on and think about my florals...it is certainly not intuitive to me.
Glad you liked the second. The whole fam paid me a visit and it just sat a let me get pretty close and lay down to get that shot.
