what a great fishing sequence! do snowy owls eat fish?!?!? i thought they stuck to small, furry things but maybe i was wrong. all of these are stunning, particularly #4.
Actually the snow melted really quickly this year as it came only off and on anyhow, so the furrows in the farm field would fill up like small lakes, anything out there (and there are a lot of voles and field mice this year) was stuck having to cross these little ponds. The raptors were feeding like crazy that week.
Couldn't have had better conditions this year if we paid for it.
Looks like a banner year for red tails and broad wings now, the are dive bombing the fields now. No where near as fun!
Great shots all around. Love #3 and #4.
To Jammer26, my EXIF reader shows 1d4 and 70-200 f/2.8 IS MK2 with a 1.4 TC (I assume based on most focal lengths being over 200 but maybe a 2.0TC)
EDIT: Actually first 2 were with the naked lens and the last 3 were with probably the 2.0TC as the f stop was up to 5.6 unless that was done on purpose.
