I drove out to our local state park this morning to see what this beautiful spring day would provide. Couldn't miss this pair of Albino deer out for breakfast. Not a great shot but still interesting I think.
I am told that only 1 in 20,000 deer are albino. I have seen these two albino and a piebald deer at this location. (A piebald is mostly white but has brown spots) I plan to go back next weekend and see if I can get a little closer. Wish me luck.
I have also included another shot from a couple of weeks back of a Barred Owl after dropping on its prey. Still trying to refine my PP skills. CC greatly appreciated.
The first is most interesting, hard to imagine two such deer together. The owl is really fine. Good luck with getting the two unusual deer together again.

I had seen one of these last Sunday and the Piebald but could not get a decent shot. I kind of feel like one of the Mega Millions lottery winners today by getting a second chance. I did get to watch for a while today through the binoculars. Mostly they were much too far for my lens setup this week. I dont suppose one of you would like to loan me your 800mm?
