The Rough-crested Malkoha or Red-crested Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus superciliosus) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
Reynold, I am told by a lot of fellow birders that spotting this bird on a good perch to photograph is near impossible. I found a place that is ultra easy to document this wacky looking bird. I plan to go back to document this bird better.
