Thanks Ted, Tim, Dalite, Birdie, JBoy, Ken, Ron and Tom.
One of my problems posting is that when I traveled I never particularly sought pictures of wildlife or cities or landscapes or people. I sought whatever interested me- which was fine. But since joining FM about three years ago, I have to find the right photographs for the right forums. I can't tell the travel stories in a logical, sequential manner- which would be my preference. When I gave slide shows I could.
Ah, life's a beach, isn't it?
I have three more days of "llama Peru" stuff, but after that I'd be stretching things too far to post them on Nature and Wildlife Forum (I'm on the edge even now).
I really appreciate your support on this little series.
Charlie
Knowing that I will never be a world traveler is often a bit frustrating Charlie, there is way too much I have not seen here in the States but I wish to thank you for sharing images like this that are for me truly amazing and often never even conceived that exist.
#2 and #3 leave me speechless and wishing that I could have stood their to appreciate and feel that feeling that a view like this would bring over me, special work here Charlie, very cool.
The llama here is superfluous and gratuitous Charlie . It is just the Travelocity gnome that sucks us into those next great scenic shots...the landscape is marvelous and you captured it beautifully. I think the third shot with the terracing is my favorite but this has been a fun journey.

Eric
I am found out.
I am uncovered.
I am naked on a ridge with the wind blowing (just like an old stallion without a mare in sight ).
But fear not, Eric, the superfluous gratuitocity is not over for a couple more days .
You have been warned.
Thanks, nevertheless, guys, for the comments (well, other than Eric's ).

Must be nice to travel to such wonderful places like Machu Picchu.
Thank you for sharing your experience and nice images.
Thanks for commenting, Reed. I am happy to share some of my travel experiences.
Yes- going to such places was wonderful and exciting- but not without considerable personal sacrifice. Still- I have no complaints.
