It was about an inch.
No this is actually not captive, it was found in a stream while on a hike.

Ah! A full grown cricket frog! I saw these guys in the south. I always saw the young ones - which were about the size of a house fly(not even exaggerating). Nice shot!

Yes, they are VERY small when they are born, this picture was taken when I was just starting photography, but it still shows the scale.
This Cricket frog was around 2-3 cm.
