goal for saturday: get going early and photograph common but elusive wilson's snipe. man - getting close to these s.o.b's was a challenge. saw > 30 of these guys this morning and couldn't get anywhere near them for ~ 2hrs. i saw this bird off on its own and he surprisingly let me approach. bit by bit, i finally got into range. i snapped off a bunch of shots, this being my favorite.
no sun here (boston) today, but i also got a few other shots as well.
