Quick shot of some burrowing owls standing outside their burrow. It was really hot, close to 100F and they were panting and often opening their wings, then they went down into the burrow and stayed there, hopefully it was cooler. XT2 100-400mm @400mm hand held.
Here's some ice cave fun i had in Iceland this year. This is the Black Diamond Ice Cave, so it was formed in a part of the glacier that had gotten covered in volcanic ash which caused the ice to be black. Made for some good "Darth Einar" shots. Einar Siguršsson is the first guy who did ice cave tours on the island starting 30 odd years ago. An amazing guide and super fun person all around
