Interesting texture on the background, not pure noise. I'm wondering about adding a touch of contrast. Your subject is nice and sharp and the image composed well.
Thanks Karl, that's pretty much what it should look like. I like the use of the blur tool and although I thought I had reduced the yellows a tad, you're version is much more representative of the true colours (uk spelling!) as I remember them. How long did it take you to do that?
Herb, please remember full sun over here is weaker than your full sun!! I will try and be more aware of my ISO in the future, I think I tend to shoot higher ISO's out of habit during the winter months.
