Had a good time watching these little guys today. Lovely little birds. I also managed a couple of shots of some other species. Hopefully the weather is picking up and I'll be able to get out more

Good looking Grebes. In the first shot the fish it has looks like a fishing lure, looks like there is an eyelet on the end of it though I don't see any hooks thanfully

The pair together is lovely, nice colors.
Nice switch up to grab the flyers and the running hen in the last!

It does look like an eyelet Karl, but maybe a drop of water? Nice set of images.

Great set, really like 2 and 4

Might be interesting to see a crop in on that fish to try and confirm eyelet or water drop (though I'd bet on water drop)

Thanks. I may do a project on Grebes. Hopefully these two have paired up and I can find where they have nested. Sure would be good to get Mum, Dad and some babies.
