We just got a new truck in, and an engine should be here Thursday.
1.5 Million for the two. The Truck is just over 1 Million. Like $1.1 Million.
The other fire truck ( aka engine company ) will be here Thursday.
(Truck = ladder on top, Engine = No ladder on top)
Well, Check out my new ride at work!
It's a BOSS! We're loving it. Despite the work it still needs.
It's about 1.5 Months from being in service and usable.

A couple of years I shot our local Scouts 100th anniversary weekend. They let me climb up the ladder for an arial shot. I think I was only about 40 feet up but it still felt like a mile. And a fun opportunity.
nice, very nice, my dept just signed contract for a pierce dash 1500gpm engine, should be here by dec, looking at a pierce quint if we get the grant, that'll give us all pierce for engines/quint. heavy rescue is a kme
Nice, These aren't off grant. But they've been delayed a few yrs due to budgets.
We have 5 Stations, 23Min on shift. (we're not big, cover about 38k people and 28 sq miles)
Now with these new apps, we have 3 Trucks and 3 engines and one rescue (Primary Medical Calls)
(Sta. 1 being a double company + Rescue er the ambulance. lol)
Our rescue was implemented to handle the Basic Medical calls to keep wear and tear off
the big boy machines. our Rescue runs 76% of the calls in our zone. Being Basic Medical Calls.
It has a 2 man crew, and is an extension of the Truck Company where it's located.
Therefor, the truck only has 3 people (their other 2 on the rescue)
Our Engine Also showed up! Here's some more photos of both!
