Will a photoflex 36x48 inch fabric grid work in a wescott 36x48 softbox? The photoflex grids are several hundred dollars less expensive..

I can't speak directly to those brands, but I did a mismatch for a better price myself on my brands. Just make sure the male and female part of the velcro work together with each having the opposite side.

I just went to a scott kelby photography class last week, he said get your grids from denny mfg. the one for his westcott strip bank was $33.00

Paull Buff offers a few softbox grids that are relatively inexpensive. I don't know if he has your particular size. You might want to check out the softbox section of his website.

I put a Photoflex 36x48 grid on my Profoto box, works perfectly and I saved ~$500....

Profoto grid is $703 @B&H
Photoflex @ local store $212
