Sheila- this is a stunning street shot.
It also is a bit disquieting to me. Not sure why, but it's linked to the woman being incredibly wrinkled- and looking right at you.
It's the kind of shot I also would have taken- and then wondered about.
I'm not a fan of tinting generally, but it seems to work very well here.
Nice work all 'round.

Sheila- the second image is also excellent. And the two work well together.
Funny- knowing that she gave you a smile makes all the difference in my thoughts about the first image.
A photograph may be worth a thousand words, but words can be powerful and subtle also- at the same time .

They are both beautifully done, and touching, portraits. Makes me think of Maude (Harold and Maude). In N° 1, I can't help but comparing the wrinkles, hand and forearm on one side, and the bag's leather on the other side.
Sheila,
Both are wonderful captures. The first looks just a bit over cooked with the yellowed 2 filter IMHO. Perhaps a little contrast adjustment with the filter would be nice. Just looks a bit too contrasty for your subject.
Love the second image and an excellent capture.
