p.1 #1 · Will CS3 with Lion OSX 10.68

I would like to up grade to Lightroom 4. I would have to install OSX Lion which is I think 10.68 which I would need to run LR4.
Does anyone know if Photoshop CS3 will work with OSX?

I don't have an answer for you but Lion is actually 10.7. 10.6 was Snow Leopard.

CS3 is 32 bit and will not work with Lion which has removed the ability to run 32 bit apps. CS5 is the first version to run 6b bit on a Mac.

Lion runs 32-bit apps just fine. What it lacks is the Rosetta utility, which allowed running pre-Intel legacy apps, such as Quicken, for example. CS3 should run without issues, as I can run CS5 under Lion in 32-bit mode if I choose.

I'm running Lion 10.7.3 and using Photoshop CS3...no problems whatsoever.
