For years I have been searching for the mythical 3 eyed lion of the Savuti plain. Finally found him in beautiful morning light. And to my knowledge, it is the only know photograph of him. Cheers, Andrew

Thanks for the comments guys and gals. You know its funny -- when you see male lions walking around with those great big heads, which are really heavy, you kind of realize why they aren't great hunters. Pity this guy with a head almost twice the normal size. Cheers, Andrew

Finally found your three eyed lion Andrew. Wow I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it! I've heard the stories about this magnificent cat, I can only hope to see him one day!
