I came across this video about the Afghan Box Camera. It is essentially a camera and a portable darkroom combined together. Quite interesting stuff.

Interesting, one can imagine that having been a common technique elsewhere in the 19th century. I wonder what he used for developer and fixer. I would not be doing that with bare hands day after day.
