Otherwise, CZJ 24mm/f2.8 is ok. Dont expect "Zeiss" quality, but CZJ stuff is sometimes suprisingly good (considering very low price of it). Usually bit more than you pay for.

Tho.. is it made in Japan or Germany? Japan made can be Cosina (usually recognized by lots of blue stuff on lens, writings etc.). And can be pretty good.. Previous Germany made, usually not so much.. (as it wasnt that part of Germany we like..).

Oh donīt undervalue East German lenses!
Some very fine - or even some of the finest lenses where made by Zeiss Jena: The extreme high resolution Lamegons, or the Pinatar satellite lens which was in a 6 color camera in some Russian Sojus missions - and as far as I know make USA headache about the image quality they get.
But I suppose that this 24mm f/2.8 lens is not that well, probably even a cheap lens.
