I've been posting now for 2 weeks, and feel my blog is ready for some 'specialised' critique.
I realise there is almost a biblical plague of photography blogs out there, I'm not trying to compete, merely share my and others experiences in a relaxed, less technical format. I'm very new to DLSR photography and the blog doubles as a journal of my learning.
I've set up a Facebook page and Twitter account in an attempt to increase the sites accessibility, although I am unsure of how to use them to their full potential.
I just looked over your blog. It looks well put together. It's simple, clean cut, and easy to use. Are you planning on trying to build it up and make money with google ads?
Thanks! That was the look I was going for. I've read a lot of blogs that are super cluttered and feel very 'myspace'...
As for google ads, and making money, that's something that I've thought about, as far as just to cover my costs. But while it's only costing me $100 a year (plus my time) so I'm not interested at the moment.
Still trying to maximise my FB and Twitter at the moment, hoping to make 1000 views in my first 30 days, looks like I'm going to make that, so onwards and upwards.
